We discussed if the focus should be "Java and other" or "Other with some Java".
- Rails, Ruby, Agile, Methodologies, User, Interfaces, Project Mgt., SW Professionals

- Networking
- Open Source SW Dev Group?
- "Tucson SW Professionals" - not just a hobbyist group

Summary – most people in attendance (about 9) seemed to favor going to a more "open" format with presentations that may interest more than just "Java" developers.
Presentation topics:
- Duffy: Natural Language Processing - transformation based learning
- Renee: DBUnit
- Rob Gingell: ?
- Warner: OS WebFrameworks, 7 open source projects you've never heard of
- Chad: preso in a couple months on something fun
Membership dues
- Folks seemed to think $25-$30/year would be acceptable
- money/dues could go to speakers
- we want to keep the remote population - so need to make sure they can join in
- New Folks: Glenn and Carl
- When asked why they came - it was a mix of "social" and "curiosity"
